Does WholeHealth Concierge provide private duty nursing in Palm Springs?
Yes. Meagan Williams, RN, BSN, CCRN, personally provides in-home nursing care and care coordination for families in Palm Springs and the surrounding Coachella Valley. Every engagement starts with an RN assessment, and care is planned around what that assessment finds, not a fixed package.
Is this the same as a home care agency?
No. A home care agency places caregivers with clients and is required to hold a specific state license to do that. WholeHealth Concierge does not currently hold that license. What Meagan provides in Palm Springs today is her own hands-on nursing care and clinical care coordination, under her own registered nurse license, not staff placed on her behalf.
Do you have an office in Palm Springs?
No. WholeHealth Concierge does not maintain a separate office in the Coachella Valley. Care is coordinated directly with Meagan and provided in the client's home.
Why is there a physician shortage in the Coachella Valley?
It is real and documented, not just a local impression. Part of the Coachella City and Indio area carries an active Medically Underserved Population designation from the federal Health Resources and Services Administration. A 2026 regional analysis found the Inland Empire has 229 physicians per 100,000 residents, against 358 statewide.
Does Medicare pay for this?
No. Medicare does not cover private duty nursing. Its home health benefit is limited to part-time or intermittent skilled visits, generally under eight hours a day and 28 hours a week, for homebound patients. Private duty nursing is private pay, though long-term care insurance policies frequently reimburse for it.
